AmsterdaM!!!

Day 3 in Haarlem, it was sooo cosy wakin up in the b&b, and i havent even started raving about the fantastic breakfast spread there was for us. inges the owner does up a selection of breads, cold cuts, jam, butter, orange juice and tea... and its brought to our rooms, how great is that. breakfast in bed with a overlooking-canal view. and btw canals here are not like longkangs in singapore... they are clean water ways that dont smell

It was rainy rainy rainy terrible weather for travelling around so we ditched the Teyler's Museum Plan and the visit to the organ that Mozart and Handel played on. i think it is also the oldest christian mueller around. Headed for AMSTERDAM! checked into our lil hotel off Leidseplein, its a stone's throw from the bars, food, nightlife area... yet in a quiet little street so we dont get rowdy drunks at our doorstep... perfect! all for 79 euros a night. anyone goin to amsterdam, hunt for me if you need the address

Visited the home of Van Gogh... hey i think i can paint like that too, with some practice, see im modest too after all! just a lil dots here, mix the colours a bit, dot more on the canvas, make sure you dont put water and wala... van drea!! and the van is not pronounced 'VAN', but "FAN". these dutch people.

2nd day in amsterdam. lemme see, ohyah forgot to mention kirk and killy's b&b. because our hotel has no more vacancies we got a nearby b&b for them at a comparable price but it turned out to be so much more in value! so prettty inside, the patio especially. and the owners, i think they're a gay couple, the cooked dutch pancakes for breakfast, FRESH! anyway they have this jack russell called pepe and it must have been damn horny, i stuck out my hand and it grabbed on to it and tried humping it. act first i just thought it was so smart walking on two legs as it clung on to my arm.... UNTIL they told me what it really was. =X we made our way to albertstraat flea market and the steals of the day were:

pretty duffel bag, small handbag, earrings, fake tattoos and a egg holder! and on the way back we stocked up on stroopwaffels. the perfect souveneir should be one that finds its way to the tummy...

Jap food for lunch was great again and this amsterdam trip has been sinful. we kept eating and eating and eating good food. either that, or just plain oily food. we had kebab and fries twice, jap food twice, BIG portions too, chinese roast duck/charsiew twice... and real dutch pancakes at the sports bar in leidseplein.
